    The type of light we view, and the time of day we are exposed to it, have tremendous effects on our sleep. Getting outside in sunlight for just 10-30 minutes every day (as soon after waking as possible) is not only an uplifting way to start your day, but it triggers the release of dopamine and encourages cortisol levels to peak early in the day. Thought cortisol was related to stress? It is, but it also signals to the body that it is time to wake up, helps boost the immune system and increases our ability to focus, setting us up for whatever the day has in store.

    Some tips on morning light exposure:
    For maximum effectiveness, do not wear sunglasses when getting your morning light, but protect the eyes by not staring directly at the sun; eyeglasses and contacts are fine.
    The amount of time needed outside depends on the weather; on a clear day, 10 minutes is enough, but closer to 30 minutes is best for cloudy or rainy days.

    1. Study Objectives
    Deep sleep pillow spray has been tested in 4 independent user studies on over 600 participants to asses performance and user satisfaction.

    2. Study Design
    Type of Study: Quantitative user study with self-assessment questionnaires.
    Product Use Protocol: Participants sprayed the pillow spray onto their pillow as per provided instructions.
    Data Analysis: Results from the self-assessment questionnaires were collected and analysed by an independent statistician.
    Participants: 4 independent user studies were conducted to test performance for participants with mild sleep anxiety, ex-prescription users and heavy tech users.

    3. Blinding Procedure
    To maintain objectivity, the product was provided in lab sample containers without brand identifiers or final packaging. Participants were randomly assigned to test or control (placebo) groups.

    4. Results
    Former sleep prescription users found they:

Why do my bath salts look a deeper yellow colour?

The colour variation is due to the natural cold pressed and essential oils that are within the formulation which do have some natural colour variation from batch to batch/harvest to harvest. Over time the essential oils can turn darker/more yellow which is natural and to be expected. The product is safe for use. 

Can I use the deep sleep body cocoon on my face?

We do not recommend applying this product to your face. Instead, we recommend our deep sleep overnight cream for the face.

What’s the difference between Sleep Plus and Deep Sleep spray? Can I use them together?

Our deep sleep pillow spray is designed to help you fall asleep faster and our motion-activated sleep plus pillow spray is designed to help you stay asleep for longer as it is released throughout the night. They can be used together or separately.

How do I make the most of my candle?

For optimal performance and burn time follow the candle care instructions below.
[1] Trim your wick to 5mm before burning your candle. Ensure it is on a secure, heat-resistant surface before lighting.
[2] Set your candle memory by allowing the candle to burn for a minimum of 2-3 hours on first use.
[3] For best results burn your candle for at least 2 hours and not more than 4 hours at a time.
[4] Use a snuffer to extinguish your candle taking care not to damage the wick.
[5] Cautions: Keep out of reach of children and pets. Remove all packaging before lighting. Do not burn candles while next to walls, windows or below overhanging objects. Allow ample headroom for the candle to burn. Keep candle away from flammable materials, sources of heat and polished surfaces and never put in a warm place as this can cause the candle to overheat. Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep a distance of 10cm between burning candles. Never move a candle while burning. Allow the wax pool to solidify completely before moving or relighting the candle and keep free from debris such as match heads. Stop using the candle when 10mm of wax remains.
